Kate Marston, owner of KM Design, has been named as the winner of Business Services in The Best Business Women Awards, a national competition for female entrepreneurs. 17 winners were selected from 60 finalists. This annual competition seeks to recognise great women in the business community, who are not only making a difference in their own lives, but also in their local communities.
‘I feel extremely proud to have won this award. I’m celebrating 10 years of KM Design this year and the award is recognition of all that I have achieved so far as a small business owner. I’d like to thank my husband Ben, my family, friends, clients and suppliers for their support in making KM Design a success.’
The founder of the awards Debbie Gilbert said ‘The Best Business Women awards are all about showcasing great businesswomen who are running a business around a family or commitments. The standard of entrants was very high so to be chosen as a winner is a major achievement’.
The awards were presented at a gala final at Batchwood Hall in St Albans on 15th October where winners and finalists enjoyed a 3 course meal and the award presentation.
The judges commented 'In a strong and competitive category Kate Marston stood out with her clear vision and passion and a high quality application demonstrating skilful design and great business ethics.'
